Visceral Fat Oxidation Rate
The Alpha vs. Beta Receptor War
Fat cells have two types of receptors:
Beta-Receptors: The "Green Light." They release fat to be burned.
Alpha-Receptors: The "Red Light." They lock fat inside the cell.
Stubborn fat (belly/lower back) is dense with Alpha-receptors. High intensity exercise releases catecholamines (adrenaline), but it can sometimes trigger these Alpha receptors to lock down further if insulin is present.
The Solution: Low Insulin + Blood Flow
To unlock visceral fat, you need low insulin (Fasted state) and high blood flow without excessive cortisol (which protects visceral fat). This is where Zone 2 Cardio shines. It maximizes fat oxidation rates (FatMax) without spiking cortisol high enough to trigger the Alpha-receptor lockdown.
Tactical Approach
Yohimbine HCL is an Alpha-2 antagonist (it blocks the "Red Light"). Taking 2.5mg - 5mg before Fasted Zone 2 Cardio chemically forces stubborn fat cells to release their contents.

This compound is frequently utilized in the Sleep Optimization and Cortisol Management protocols.
